Sports Massage: North Beach
Pre-event preparation, post-event recovery, and the regular maintenance that supports heavy training blocks. Designed for athletes at every level.
Sports massage isn't just a "deep" remedial massage. It's purpose-built for athletes: timed appropriately around training and competition, focused on the muscles and patterns most relevant to your sport, and designed to support performance and recovery rather than fight against your training load.
When to Book a Sports Massage
Pre-Event (24–48 hours before)
Lighter, flushing-style massage to prepare the muscles, increase circulation, and prime the body for competition. Not deep work. We save that for after.
Post-Event (within 24 hours after)
Targets the muscle groups that took the most load. Commonly used to help with delayed-onset muscle soreness, range of motion, and post-event recovery.
Maintenance During a Training Block
Regular sessions every 2–4 weeks during heavy training to manage tightness, address minor issues before they become injuries, and support consistent performance.
Off-Season Recovery Work
Address the accumulated tightness and asymmetries from a competition season. Longer sessions, deeper work, broader scope.
Sports We Treat
Our Therapists work with runners, AFL and soccer players, basketball and netball athletes, surfers and lifesavers, cyclists, triathletes, gym athletes, CrossFit athletes, dancers, and weekend warriors. Treatment is tailored to your sport's specific demands.
Health fund rebates
Sports massage by a registered Remedial Therapist is covered by most private health funds. HICAPS on-site for direct billing, so you pay only the gap.
